Alpha Pharm Kraaifontein

Alpha Pharm Kraaifontein is a pharmacy in the Darwin Shopping Centre, established in November 2018. The pharmacy aims to serve every member of the community, from baby immunisations for the very young to effective chronic medication management for elderly patients through its Alpha Script service.

Its staff complement includes two pharmacists and three front shop assistants, and the pharmacy runs a Saturday morning clinic from 9am to 12pm, where a sister carries out blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose monitoring, family planning and baby immunisations. The pharmacy says it plans to grow this into a full-time clinic service, along with a virtual doctor consultation and wellness screenings for major medical aids.

The pharmacy is at Shop 3, on the corner of Darwin and Dan King Street in Kraaifontein, and suits families looking for everyday dispensing, chronic medicine management and basic clinic services in one visit.
