Columbit

Columbit is a supplier of commercial meat-processing equipment and consumables, such as corks, screwcaps and capsules, to the wine, food and beverage industries, based on 7th Avenue in Kensington, Cape Town. The company was established in 1937 and has grown into a group operating in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, now employing between 101 and 200 people.

The Columbit Group supplies both equipment and consumables, giving wine, food and beverage producers a single source for packaging materials and processing machinery. It suits wineries, food processors and beverage producers in the Western Cape looking for an established, long-running local supplier rather than importing equipment and consumables separately.
