Hybrid Composite

Hybrid Composite designs and manufactures equipment for the superyacht and wider marine industry, producing flush deck hatches, companionway and crew-access entrances, emergency escape systems, saloon windows and other marine hardware and seals. Its work extends to full yacht interior fittings, giving boatyards and builders a single supplier for both structural access equipment and finishing components.

The company was founded in Cape Town in 2008 and has built its process around 3D CAD modelling, detailed design, CNC cutting, composite prototyping, acrylic machining and project management, covering a project from concept through to a finished part. It suits superyacht builders and boatyards needing standard, semi-custom or fully custom equipment rather than off-the-shelf components. The workshop operates from Unit 7, 7 Inyoni Street in Ndabeni, Cape Town.
