Morea House, Autograph Collection

Morea House, Autograph Collection is a design-focused boutique hotel on Camps Bay Beach, with 90 rooms and suites, most offering mountain or ocean views. The hotel was brought to life by award-winning interior architect Tristan du Plessis, who used stone, timber and bronze tones to echo the sea, sand and mountains outside.

The lobby doubles as a gallery of South African art, showing work by artists including Chris Soal, WonderBuhle and Jeremy Rose, under a chandelier by Jan Ernst Studio shaped to mimic ocean wave flows. The hotel follows the Autograph Collection's philosophy of being exactly like nothing else, giving it a distinctive, one-of-a-kind character.
