Surf Emporium

Surf Emporium is a surfing and stand-up paddleboarding school at Surfers Corner in Muizenberg, offering accredited lessons for complete beginners through to experienced surfers and paddlers. It also runs adaptive surfing programmes, so people of different ages and abilities can take to the water with proper instruction.

Alongside its lessons, the business rents out surf and SUP equipment and stocks a retail store carrying a range of surf and SUP brands. It was founded by an award-winning South African surfing champion, and today it combines its surf school, equipment rental and retail store with a Vida e Caffè under one roof, so visitors can grab a coffee before or after a session.

Surf Emporium trades from 72 Beach Road at Surfers Corner, Muizenberg, open daily from 7:30am to 5:30pm. It suits anyone wanting to learn to surf or paddle, hire gear for the day, or simply shop for surf and SUP gear in a single visit.
