Barrister's Grill is a steakhouse and pub-style restaurant in Cardiff Castle, Newlands, Cape Town. The restaurant says it has one of Cape Town's most extensive wine lists, with a selection to suit most palates, and live music plays every Sunday.
The restaurant takes bookings for office parties, 40th birthdays, baby showers and other celebrations, and guests can email to discuss a function. It does not take bookings on the deck after 12:30pm, and it is not pet friendly. It suits groups and wine lovers who want a relaxed meal with live music on a Sunday. Diners who want a quieter evening can combine a meal from the wine list with the live music lineup posted on the restaurant's site each month.
