The Black Marlin is a seafood restaurant just outside Simon's Town on the way to Cape Point, on one of the Cape's most scenic coastlines. Its menu covers seafood, poultry, meats and desserts, and the restaurant also has a wine list.
The stretch of coast near the restaurant, from Strandfontein to Cape Point, is one of South Africa's finest boat-based whale-watching areas. The Black Marlin also hosts weddings and corporate functions, from romantic gatherings to larger events. The site traces back to 1814, when Thomas Drury was granted the land that became known as Miller's Point. It suits diners who want a scenic coastal setting for a meal, a whale-watching stop or a function.
