Chardonnay Deli

Chardonnay Deli is a farmstall, restaurant, bakery and deli on Constantia Main Road, housed in a renovated historic building with reclaimed wooden counters and straw-plaited baskets of fresh produce that set a rustic farm-stall scene. The deli opened in Constantia in December 2014, building on an existing upmarket catering business.

Its bakers produce a range of homemade cakes, including a signature sourdough and baked cheesecakes, while breakfast and lunch dishes chalked up daily include granola, croissants, pies, quiches and charcuterie. The deli section sells award-winning local cheeses, jams, gluten-free treats, fruit and vegetables, homemade ice cream, artisanal coffee, olive oils, homemade meals and gifting items.

The business has branches in Kalk Bay and on the Constantia Uitsig wine farm. It suits visitors who want a farm-stall style breakfast or lunch, or deli goods to take home, in the Constantia Valley.
