Checkers

Checkers Cobble Walk is a branch of the Checkers supermarket chain, trading from the Cobble Walk Shopping Centre on the corner of Verdi Boulevard and De Villiers Street in Sonstraal Heights, Durbanville. The store offers the usual Checkers range of groceries, fresh produce, meat, bakery and household goods under one roof, drawing on the buying power of the wider Shoprite Group behind the Checkers brand.

The branch mainly serves local shoppers from Durbanville and the surrounding Sonstraal Heights area doing their everyday grocery shopping, alongside shoppers visiting Cobble Walk's other stores. It suits households looking for a full supermarket shop in a single, convenient Durbanville location.
