Glen Country Club

Glen Country Club is a private sporting and social club in Clifton, built around tennis courts and lawn bowls, with three separate bowling greens for members and visiting teams. Alongside regular club sport, the venue is set up to host private and corporate functions, making it both a sports facility and an events space.

Founded in 1955, the club sits within the Clifton scenic reserve close to Clifton Beach, a setting that has shaped its character as a long-standing social institution rather than a purely competitive sports club. For members and visitors who want a sporting or social base on the Atlantic Seaboard, Glen Country Club also runs a second venue in Green Point able to accommodate larger group bookings.
