Kleinsky's Delicatessen

Kleinsky's Delicatessen is a Cape Town deli and bakery on Regent Road in Sea Point, serving bagels, breakfasts and a range of New York-style classics such as hot pastrami on rye and matzo ball soup. The business opened in 2014 as a small, hole-in-the-wall eatery, inspired by the delis of New York and Montreal and built on traditional, time-honoured recipes.

It quickly outgrew its original premises and moved across the road to its current Regent Road address, later expanding to a second location at Workshop17 on Kloof Street. The bagels are hand-rolled and slow-fermented in the classic style. It suits anyone craving an authentic deli breakfast or lunch with a Jewish-New-York flavour in Sea Point.
