Siki's Koffee Kafe is a coffee shop in Khayelitsha, launched in 2016 by Sikelela 'Siki' Dibela after nine years working in the coffee industry, starting out washing dishes at a Vida e Caffe branch. The cafe operates from a garage at his mother's house and has grown into a busy, vibey hub attracting entrepreneurs, students and locals alike.
The cafe draws entrepreneurs, students, police officials and community members from across the area, and its customers have included Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. Dibela went on to supervise the opening of a coffee shop in London before returning to open his own cafe in the township.
It suits coffee lovers who want a genuine township coffee culture experience in Khayelitsha, built from one barista's own journey through the industry.
