The Milk Restaurant and Champagne Bar is a three-storey restaurant and bar in Khayelitsha, which launched in 2018 as the first upmarket, multi-storey restaurant and bar of its kind in a township. After a hiatus during the Covid-19 pandemic, it relaunched as The Milk Restaurant and Champagne Bar in 2022.
The venue lets guests wine and dine on one floor and lounge on another within the same building, joining a wave of newer Khayelitsha establishments redefining the township as a tourism and entertainment destination, alongside long-standing venues such as KwaAce and Kefu's Jazz Bar. Khayelitsha itself is known for its entrepreneurial spirit and diverse culture.
