Harry Goemans Garden Centre is a family-run nursery on Kommetjie Road in Sunnydale, Cape Town, open from 8:30am to 5pm every day. The Cafe at Harry Goemans has reopened under the name Cinnamon and Sage, trading from the same nursery.
Harry Goemans came to South Africa from Holland and opened his first nursery on Main Road, Bergvliet, in 1960, later closed in 2009. His son-in-law Henry Fenn started the Sunnydale branch in 1994, and Henry's son Jeremy now owns and runs the garden centre, which stocks indigenous and exotic plants, pots, fertilisers, tools and irrigation supplies. It suits gardeners visiting the nursery who also want a casual breakfast or lunch on site.
