Masiphumelele High School

Masiphumelele High School is a public secondary school at the corner of Chasmay and Guinefowl roads in Masiphumelele, in the Noordhoek valley. It teaches learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12 and is classified as a no-fee, quintile 3 school, so families in the community do not pay school fees for their children to attend.

The school follows the national curriculum, preparing learners for the National Senior Certificate and the next step into further study, training or work. Alongside academic subjects, life skills education and opportunities for personal growth help young people build confidence and plan for their futures. Despite working with limited resources, the school plays a central role in Masiphumelele, giving local youth access to a full secondary education close to home rather than travelling to schools elsewhere in the valley.
