Marble is a fire-cooking restaurant on the top floor of the historic Union Castle Building at the V&A Waterfront, created by a chef whose original Johannesburg restaurant has been a celebration of fire cooking, carefully sourced meat and classic South African flavours since it opened in 2016. The Cape Town branch, developed with a business partner, reimagines the historic building with wrap-around rooftop glass-walled views of Table Mountain, the working harbour and the Atlantic Ocean.
The restaurant continues the signature Marble style, with the chef adding a touch of Cape Town to the concept. It offers a real destination feel, built around the experience and vibe of the space as much as the food itself. It suits diners who want fire-cooked dishes paired with some of the best views at the Waterfront.
