Two Oceans Aquarium is an aquarium at Dock Road in the V&A Waterfront, open 365 days a year and home to more than 8,000 animals from South Africa's oceans. Visitors can explore the exhibits, join feeding times and shows, or take a behind-the-scenes guided tour to learn how the aquarium's life support systems work and how its animals are cared for.
The aquarium's Penguin Experience lets visitors get up close with its northern rockhopper penguins in an educational, interactive session. Its Dive School is a certified PADI Five-Star Dive Centre and PADI Freediver Centre, offering shore and boat dives, snorkelling experiences and the chance to dive inside the aquarium itself.
An annual membership gives unlimited visits, making it suited to sea-loving families who want to return often, as well as first-time visitors and new divers.
