Zeitz MOCAA is a museum of contemporary art at the V&A Waterfront, running a changing programme of exhibitions alongside its collection. Current and upcoming shows span several years, including an online publication project, a publishing atelier, and exhibitions such as 'The Procession', 'Afflict the Comfortable, Comfort the Afflicted', 'Were It Not for Shadows', 'A Protea Is Not a Flower' and 'We Proceed in the Footsteps of the Sunlight'.
The museum also runs a what's on programme beyond its galleries, including film screenings through its Pan-African Film Caravan, which has shown works such as Sarah Maldoror's 'Sambizanga'. Visitors can plan a visit, become a member, or support the museum's mission through the Africa First initiative or direct donations, and the museum runs a BMW Centre for Art Education for collaborative and learning programmes.
It suits art lovers who want to see contemporary African art exhibitions and film programming at the Waterfront.
